ASCOR was founded by two professional players — one from New Zealand (ex-Taiwan),
one from Taiwan — competing at an elite level.
Across our professional careers we accumulated an international perspective
and a deep understanding of the sport. Driven by an obsession with competitive
badminton, we immersed ourselves in professional training methodology, sports
science, education, and leadership — always asking one question: how can every
athlete not just receive training, but truly understand their own game, own
their direction of growth, and track their performance over the long term?
Modern competitive training has moved beyond chasing volume. Today it is about
purpose, quality of execution, and real efficiency — a philosophy that aligns
with education systems that value understanding, exploration, and self-directed
learning.
ASCOR fuses both worlds. We preserve rigorous badminton fundamentals and
professional tactical coaching, while integrating sports science to
systematically track every athlete's training cycles, physical condition, and
development.
We don't just teach strokes and technique. We find the problem, understand the
problem, and walk with each athlete — step by step — through adjustment and
breakthrough. We aim to be a genuine partner in every athlete's progress,
through every milestone in sport and in life.
